This is a repost from the EO thread, a personal reference for myself that includes my works related to FFXI so I can note where I've improved, and where I'm still falling short. I've thought about including avatars, but frankly, I've made so many that I haven't even kept track of them all...
My very first signature. I really liked it, but there are obvious problems with it, and I had no idea what I was doing in photoshop at the time. I'd really like to try and remake this, someday... but without the suck.
I'm a jack of all trades, in game and out. I don't have any particular strong points, but I do a lot of different things moderately well...
I wanted to kind of show that in this signature, so I put all of my 'higher level' jobs in their armor and haphazardly tossed it into a signature. This was about the time I joined EO. As you can see, it failed miserably... lol
This was originally a recreation of the second signature, and was the first one where I really played around with backgrounds and compositing multiple layers onto a backdrop. There are some obvious flaws, so I'm not going to point them out... (cough, redundant armor bugs the shit out of me,) but it was a step in the right direction.
This was made about a week or two before the announcement that EO was going to reform as EE. I'm not really sure what to say about it, honestly. I think I did a much better job than any of my previous efforts, the practice and work I put into it shows, but there are still a lot of errors I'd like to correct. I want to remake this one, but I just did it... so I feel like I have to at least give it a brief run, first.
I retouched a few of the things that bugged me, and found a few more... so I have not actually displayed this signature until now. At some point, I'll take the time to fix things and adopt this one (since the LS name on my old one is outdated.)
